Throughout our school day, we realise that there are many challenges and obstacles that the children have to overcome. With that in mind, a great way that we conquer these are by encouraging children to ROARR. This means means being Resilient, Open, Aspirational, Reflective and Resourceful in their learning both inside and outside of school. This will make them successful in what they try to achieve so give it a go at home and please tell us if your child has ROARRed by emailing email@example.com so I can celebrate this with them!
Mental Health and Wellbeing
There are times when we all feel the strain and find things a bit of a challenge and that is ok! There are ways that we can support each other to give ourselves the best chance to stay mentally healthy.
While many children have enjoyed being off school, others have struggled - with the Coronavirus outbreak keeping many of you at home and away from your friends and usual routine but we are together and we will overcome this!
Below are a number of very useful websites and resources that may help if you are feeling a little down or a need a little extra support so please feel free to use them but if you do have any questions or would like to talk about something bothering you, please do not hesitate to get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
Useful Educational Websites
Please see the list of great educational resources that your children can use while at home! These are fun resources in which the children will often not feel that they are developing important educational skills so it really is a win-win if these are used!

Topic - Our Changing World
During terms 5 and 6, the children will be learning about the topic of 'Our Changing World'. They will discover some of the many ways in which the world around them is changing. From coastal erosion to political changes, there are many factors at work. Children will learn about the structure of the United Kingdom and how its shape and geography have changed over thousands of years. Using an online database of photographs, children can explore how landscapes change. We will also have the opportunity to discuss and predict the future and how it might change again in their lifetimes.
