Key Stage 2 SATs Results

Attainment:

•47% of our yr6 children achieved the expected standard in reading with 21% achieving the higher standard.

•79% of our yr6 children achieved the expected standard in writing with 21% working at greater depth.

•56% of our yr6 children achieved the expected standard in grammar, punctuation and spelling with 21% achieving the higher standard.

•69% of our yr6 children achieved the expected standard in maths with 5% achieving the higher standard.

•45% achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined with 5% achieving the higher score in all three combined.

 The average scaled scores were:

•Reading 100.6

•Grammar, punctuation & spelling 102.2

•Maths 102.2

 Progress KS1 to KS2

•Reading: -0.6

•Writing: +5.5

•Maths: +2.0

These progress figures in reading and maths are broadly average with the national progress rates. The writing progress rate is significantly better than the national average for 2023.
