Home Learning

Welcome to Year 1's home learning page!
Please see the timetable below and list of activities for the children to complete during their absence. The children will bring home an exercise book and a pencil which they can use to complete any of the tasks. We appreciate your support at this time, thank you.
Please email me with photos and updates of what you have been up to at home or any questions and queries,
Stay safe and I hope to see you soon,
Miss Rood :)
Below is a PDF document 'Diary of a School Closure Kid' which you can download and print if you are able to. Alternatively, the children can use the exercise book I sent home to record a daily diary of what they have been up to, should they wish. This would be really lovely to share when we come back to school.
English resources:
Oxford Owl offer free ebooks for children to read. If you sign up, then go to the ebook tab, loads of books will appear. You can limit your search (which I suggest you do) to books that are appropriate for your child. Select the drop down which says levels and choose the book band they are currently reading. You could also use Letters and Sounds then Phase 3 or 5. These will all be appropriate for the majority of the class. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to email me!
